First joint Armenian-Azerbaijani TV channel launches to promote dialogue
A new joint Armenian–Azerbaijani television channel dedicated to civil dialogue between the two societies has officially launched.
Press Clubs TV, created by the Yerevan Press Club and Baku Press Club, currently hosts two analytical programmes “Line of Contact” weekly. The show brings together leading Armenian and Azerbaijani experts for constructive discussion that refrains from mutual accusations.
The programme explores a wide range of issues shaping normalisation of relations between the two countries, including politics, the economy, transport, culture, and sports. Each episode focuses on practical analysis and solutions‑oriented dialogue.
“Line of Contact” first went on air in November 2023, at a time of complex geopolitical and regional dynamics. Until now, the programme has been distributed via the separate Armenian and Azerbaijani channels. Since November 2025 the programmes are broadcast in the air of joint media platform Press Clubs TV. To date, the initiative has produced over 100 episodes under headlines “Weekly Review” and “Trending Topics”, with over 3 million cumulative views.
‘Line of Contact’ initiative is carried out with support from International Alert – leading international peacebuilding organisation.

This joint channel is one of the very few public spaces where both societies can see each other’s realities without the usual distance or distortion. The fact that it’s a joint effort shows that even when official relations are difficult, cooperation is still possible at the professional level. It proves that open, transparent communication is something we can practice, not just talk about.Eleonora Sargsyan, peacebuilding and youth development specialist
Many joint projects involving Armenian and Azerbaijani experts are taking place abroad and are not open to the public. The work of the Baku Press Club and Yerevan Press Club is transparent and engages dozens of experts in constructive dialogue. This has played a role in improving civic engagement at different levels.Farhad Mamedov, political analyst
