The Karabakh Contact Group was devised as a way to bring together activists and analysts from across the Armenian-Azerbaijani divide to discuss the ‘Basic Principles’ and other peacebuilding ideas. The group produced several research reports in a ‘dialogue through research’ format.
‘Preparing populations for peace: Implications for Armenian-Azerbaijani peacebuilding’, published in 2019, looks at the announcement that Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers had agreed on the necessity of ‘preparing their populations for peace’.
