How to restore trust without forgetting the past
The path to overcoming the conflict between the Armenian and Azerbaijani societies lies not only in the official negotiations, but also in the involvement of broad sections of society. Expert dialogues in the media, informative mutual visits, and cooperation in scientific or professional spheres help societies to get to know each other better, and thus more easily overcome prejudices and stereotypes towards each other.
How can a positive agenda be promoted in bilateral relations without glossing over complex and controversial issues? How do the rhetoric of leaders and their relationships influence the normalisation process?
