Beyond exclusion: rethinking approaches to status in the Nagorny Karabakh peace process
A policy brief on the status of Nagorny Karabakh, aimed at stimulating discussion
The Karabakh Contact Group was devised as a way to bring together activists and analysts from across the Armenian-Azerbaijani divide to discuss the ‘Basic Principles’ and other peacebuilding ideas. The group produced several research reports in a ‘dialogue through research’ format.
‘Beyond exclusion: rethinking approaches to status in the Nagorny Karabakh peace process’, published in 2012, looks at the question of what status Nagorny Karabakh should have: independence, autonomy, self-government or some other formulation.
