Since its launch in November 2023, the Line of Contact initiative has created a platform where Armenian and Azerbaijani experts and civil society representatives have regularly  come together for solution-oriented discussions.  The dialogues focus on finding common ground and building mutual understanding and trust between the two countries. Over 80 experts from Armenia and Azerbaijani held discussion across 100 episodes, covering a range of wide topics related to the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and normalisation process.

In the 100th episode of the programme “Line of Contact”,  political analysts Areg Kochinyan and Farhad Mammadov discuss the latest press conferences held by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and the prospects of a peace agreement being signed in the near future as well as what the remaining disagreements between the parties are. The interlocutors also touched upon Pashinyan’s busy visit to Europe, Syria’s new leader’s Ahmed al-Sharaa visit to Baku, as well as other topics related to regional and bilateral relations.

The program was prepared as part of a joint initiative of the Yerevan and Baku Press Clubs.
