The Caucasus Peacebuilding Portal is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Caucasus Peacebuilding Portal is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. All colour combinations and typefaces have been chosen for their high level of accessibility for users with visual impairments.
Nevertheless, we have not been able to be fully compliant with all standards. Where possible, subtitles or captions have been provided on video content, but this is not available on all content, particularly on those videos hosted by third parties.
